Wendy Yurick Wing, President
Wendy is an award-winning technical writer with over 18 years experience developing technical documentation products for a variety of industries including medical device, aerospace/aviation, computer hardware and software, restaurant equipment, networking, financial, telecommunications, industrial automation, military, and enterprise solutions.
She is the immediate past president of the Northern New England (NNE) chapter of the Society for Technical Communication. She has volunteered over 8 years with STC-NNE, serving as president, first and second VP, website admin, job bank manager, and workshop manager. Over the years she has also volunteered as a competition judge, both locally and internationally, for the Boston/NNE publications and online competitions.
Prior to starting Wing Group, Wendy held several technical writer positions in New England and Houston, TX, as a Documentation Project Leader contractor for Compaq Computer Corporation's Storage products Division and a Senior Technical Writer contractor for their Server Products and Enterprise Solutions Divisions.
Ms. Wing holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
