Wendy Yurick Wing, President and Lead Technical Writer of Wing Group LLC, a full-service documentation company, is the recipient of an 2005-2006 Online Communication Award of Excellence from the local competition of the Boston and Northern New England (NNE) chapters of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). Wendy won the award for producing the BIO-key International PacketCluster APIServer Manager WebHelp.
Each year, the STC Boston and NNE chapters work together to hold competitions in Online Communication, Technical Art, and Technical Publications. It is a chance for professionals in the technical communication field to submit their work for evaluation by their peers.
"This is great honor," said Wendy, "We strive to create the best documentation for our clients, and this award validates our efforts."
Wendy is a member of the STC and is an active volunteer. She is the 2nd Vice President of the NNE chapter and Coordinator of the STACIES, the awards banquet to honor the winners of the STC competitions.
