Step 2. Remove the widget from the interior of the panel.
You scratch your head, then scream out loud, "What widget? Where is it located?"
Adding illustrations to the text makes it easier to read. Providing a visual aid also makes the user understand how to remove the widget. (And, it will also make them stop cursing at the manual.)
